在大学内运行和/或停放的车辆必须遵守大学的规定 汽车的政策. While this page contains some of the highlights of the policy, individuals are encouraged to read the entire policy to ensure their ability to comply with it. This policy covers the following areas:

车辆 Registration

 Permanent 停车 Permits

Temporary 停车 Permits

临时停车许可证是发给通常会获得永久停车许可证的个人, but who are using a 车辆 on campus for up to two weeks.  Temporary parking permits are free and are issued under the same types (F/S, C, H, L, M / B / D, S, A), with the same parking requirements, expire after two weeks.

Policy Enforcement 

的 办公室 校园安全 is tasked with the enforcement of the University's 汽车的政策. 违反这些政策可能会导致对注册业主发出私人财产传票, or where applicable, against the assigned driver. Citations are typically issued based on a tiered, esclatating offense system (1st, 2nd，和3rd Offense), where the fine amount escalates with each offense. Citations issued as a "警告" do not have a monetary fine. 的 count of offenses starts over annually on August 1st.  After the third offense, 其他违规行为可能导致进一步升级，包括车辆被冻结和/或与校园和学生生活办公室或人力资源办公室协调. 的 引用 and fine amount are established by the 校园安全 and Risk Management Committee. 

Once a 引用 has been issued, the cited party has ten (10) days to take action, either by appealing the 引用 or paying the 引用. If no action is taken, the 引用 may be charged to the 注册 owner's University financial account.

Citation Appeal Process

的 注册 owner/assigned driver may appeal a 引用 that has been issued to them. 的 appeals will be reviewed by the Citation Appeals Committee. 委员会由三名有表决权的成员和一名由校园安全办公室担任的无表决权成员组成. 的 voting members will be made up of faculty/staff, with a designated chairperson and a quorum of two. 的 non-voting member is responsible to provide information relating to the 引用. 引文上诉委员会对上诉的引文有以下选择:

  • Reduce the monetary amount of the 引用
  • Alter the 引用 status (reduce to caution, waive, or void)

的 committee can be reached via email at citeappeals@moldeandomentes.com. 

的 引用 process can include a first appeal and a second appeal.
